Interior Designer / Space Planner

The Interior Designer is responsible for collaborating with the sales team, creating drawings and specifications to produce complete design packages for each project. The design position is a full-time, hourly position reporting directly to the General Manager and the Company President.

Skills

  • Design degree - associates or bachelors
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • REVIT knowledge a plus

What you’ll do

  • Space planning, layout and design with AutoCAD
  • Work side-by-side with the sales and design team
  • Interface with clients and help solve their challenges through our design process
  • Field measure and verification of physical spaces
  • Create full design proposals that may include a complete finish package
  • Complete proposals that include detailed pricing
  • Work within budgets and time frames
  • Vendor correspondence
  • Set-up and maintain project files per WSD standards
  • Continuous training: self-directed, online, and with factory reps. May include some travel.

Sales Consultant

The Sales Consultant will seek and develop new business; nurture existing business and increase WSD market share in NM profitably. You will evaluate the customer’s needs and work closely with the design team to create solutions. The position is a full-time salary plus incentive pay, reporting directly to the General Manager and Company President.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively make outside calls and job visits
  • Regularly contact customers to determine needs
  • Generate business leads through cold-calling and business development
  • Manage leads through our CRM tool, TDF.
  • Consistently follow up on leads generated through business development activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly goal to maintain an agreed upon gross margin.
  • Actively pursue networking to generate leads and be a member of at least one business organization
  • Attend vendor/dealership professional training
  • Monitor and respond timely to published bid requests
  • Understand sales cycle can range from 2 days to 2 years.
